SUMMARY

I'm currently working as a Data Analyst and AWS Developer for Democrats Abroad.

• Visualisation

  Building reports in Tableau online and desktop on a regular basis for distribution to the rest of the organisation. The data comes from a data warehouse on the back of the NationBuilder product and Postgres data on AWS. Past experience with Power BI.

• SQL

  Querying data from a variety of Postgres databases on AWS. Writing functions and stored procedures. Past experience with SQL Server.

• AWS Lambda

  Writing AWS Lambda modules in Python to interact with boto3, data in NationBuilder via the NationBuilder API, and Tableau data via the Tableau API.

• CI/CD

  Using CI/CD pipeline to deploy the Lambdas. Pipeline includes GitHub Actions, CloudFormation and Serverless Framework.

• Python – Data Analysis

  Using Python Pandas to clean, wrangle and analyse data - general ETL in the AWS environment

• Python - Selenium Testing

  Writing Python/Selenium code to perform end-to-end tests on one of Democrats Abroad's websites (www.votefromabroad.org) and using Selenium to automate web tasks. Currently porting test code to AWS Device Farm. Flask front end.
